La Place Carenage Duty Free Shopping complex in Castries

Duty Free shopping allows visitors to Saint Lucia to save on purchases of many imported products because the Import Duty fees levied by the government are not applied to the price of sale. To qualify to make Duty Free purchases a visitor must present a valid Passport and one of the following, as applicable:

  • return airline ticket
  • return inter-island ferry ticket
  • cruise ship passenger ID/entry card
  • Customs & Immigration documents for visitors arriving by yacht or sailboat
