Saint Lucia’s northwest coastline
Given the stunning beauty of the island, friendliness of the people and the stable economic and political landscape, it is not surprising that many visitors to Saint Lucia find the island an attractive location for investment in a vacation or retirement home. Spurred by this interest and demand, the island is in the midst of an upsurge of villa and condominium development which has been relatively unaffected by current economic conditions, which bodes well for the local Real Estate industry and the confidence of investors.
Local law allows foreigners to own property and provides straight forward statutory requirements for doing so. Several professional Real Estate companies and Solicitor (Attorney) specialists are in operation to facilitate the entire process of property purchase and securing a required Alien’s Landholding License.
Saint Lucia currently has several foreigner-targeted development projects in progress. The projects can be found at many locations on island including Rodney Bay, Cap Estate and Cas En Bas in the north, Soufriére on the west coast and Praslin and Micoud on the east coast. Lots are also available in fashionable Marigot Bay.
